Description

The successful Credit Controller will have the following responsibilities:

Timely Cash Collection

• Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate cash collection. This will require regular contact with customers and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies and disputes
• Escalate where appropriate and will be expected to suggest solutions for resolving queries or long standing non-payment. This may include liaising with external debt collections from time to time

Applying Cash on the System

Help maintain the cash book by correctly posting BACS receipts and cheque and credit card payments to each customer. Unallocated cash will be expected to be kept to an immaterial level

Monitoring volume rebates and credit notes

• Responsible for raising both manual credit notes and manual invoices where required and for ensuring that they are appropriately approved.
• Work with the Financial Control Team to ensure that volume rebates are appropriately tracked and accrued for

Profile

The successful Credit Controller will have experience:

• Working on SAP
• Intermediate excel (accountancy)
• Chased from supermarkets or big department stores
• Come from a retail background
• Be in enthusiastic, switched on and eager to get stuck in
• Have an interest in the retail industry
• Well presented
• Previous experience using portals would be beneficial (accountancy)

Job Offer

The successful Credit Controller will join the team on a temporary basis, initially for 3 months, but with a strong possibility of being permanent. In their luxurious offices in Central London.
