Our Advisory- Risk practice, a specialty practice within Advisory Services, provides comprehensive risk services through a suite of strategic, outsourcing, and industry-focused operational solutions that help companies around the world evaluate and enhance their internal audit and risk management functions. EY seeks a consummate team player with a strong work ethic and excellent professional skills for the role of Advisory Risk Manager. This professional will plan, lead and perform internal audit procedures as a member of the internal audit management team and in accordance with the client's audit plan, risk management strategy and EY's internal audit methodologies, as well as the delivery of Enterprise Risk Management services to clients. Responsibilities Work with high-growth clients and other market leaders in industries such as retail, consumer products, financial services, manufacturing, insurance and health sciences. Establish audit objectives and scope of work; establish the engagement budget; and take responsibility for the overall execution of the engagement through wrap-up and final report delivery. Maintain a strong client focus by effectively serving client needs and developing productive working relationships with client personnel. Stay abreast of current business and economic developments and new pronouncements/standards relevant to the client's business. Display teamwork, integrity and leadership. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements. Foster teamwork and innovation. Utilize technology and tools to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery. Understand EY and its service lines. Actively encourage team members to contribute ideas and identify potential opportunities to apply EY's services. To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field; MBA preferred professional accounting designation i.e. ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CMA, CA, CGA, CRMA, CRM, etc. a minimum of 5 years of related audit or applicable business experience a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience would be acceptable for those holding a relevant graduate degree strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic strong skills in project management and engagement closure experience and interest in recruiting and professional development proficiency with MS Office and Lotus Notes Successful candidates must be available to travel as needed within and outside of the region, and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
