Credit Controller
The Company:
LOFT Interiors was established in 2003 to provide a ‘one stop’ furnishing
solution for the residential property sector. Currently one of the
leading suppliers of furnishing solutions for the UK’s dynamic property
industry, LOFT Interiors caters to the precise needs and challenges of
each market with a tailored service and specialist expertise. By
sourcing, delivering and installing furniture for clients, LOFT Interiors
aims to become a one-stop shop for the complete furnishing process.
The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, talented and experienced Credit Controller
who has experience of dealing with contractors (payment applications,
main contractor discounts and retentions.) We are a fast paced business,
where people can reach their full potential. Are you interested in an
extremely varied and challenging role.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with Project team in respect of new projects
* Be involved in the end to end customer sales lifecycle management
* Raise sales invoices, deposits and chase overdue debt, ensuring that
debts are paid in a timely manner
* Liaise with customers/clients/contractors on a daily basis to ensure
debt is managed effectively
* Provide weekly update on customer status to the Finance Director
* Working with the team take responsibility for documenting project
administration procedures – this will involve writing and
implementing policies and procedures.
* Make recommendations for improving current practices
* Support weekly cashflow forecast through the provision of information
in respect of expected receipts and overdue debt
* Advise on problems and suggest improvement
* Be proactive in any financial projects
The Person:
* Experience of dealing with contractors (payment applications,
retentions, main contractor discounts) - essential
* Excellent time management skills
* Highly organised and methodical
* Proficient Excel skills
* Able to work in a fast paced environment
* Level headed and able to work well under pressure
* Attention to detail is paramount for this role
* Experience of Bright Pearl (desirable)
