Semi Senior Accountant - Accountancy Practice

Location: Bristol

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 Per Annum

21 days holiday rising to 25 for each year of service) inc. bank holidays.

My client are a small ACCA business advisory practice in BS11 Bristol. They offer accountancy , bookkeeping and tax compliance services - a typical small practice. They are currently 10 strong and headed up by the Partner.

They are looking for an experienced individual, by proven experience or to AAT level to look after the affairs of a portfolio of small businesses (turnovers £500k - £6m). The candidate should have an engaging personality and be confident with clients and staff alike. They are looking for a good all-rounder.

They will be responsible for:-

• Accounts preparation
• Tax compliance
• VAT returns and dealing with had hoc business issues that arise weekly

They should be experienced in :-

• Digita Practice management and its associated tax and accounting modules
• Solid experience with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and other proprietary accounting and bookkeeping packages is essential

An interest in and exposure to general IT issues as relating to the above would be beneficial particularly in relation to contactors accounting.

Personal tax experience would be helpful.
