Senior Financial Accountant, Watford
£50,000 - £60,000 plus attractive benefits package
Our client, a forward-thinking organisation with a reputation in the local area for truly looking after their staff, is looking to source an ambitious and dynamic Senior Financial Accountant to join their team and work closely with the Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role within a large, fast-paced organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
*Control of the departments financial systems
*Manage period end - ensure adjustments are made, costs are captured and reported
*Support in the preparation of interim, annual and ad-hoc statutory reports
*Liaise with various departments and ensure compliance at all times
*Provide accurate, timely and relevant information to senior stakeholders
*Contribute to the forecasting process where necessary
*Manage one member of staff
*Ad-hoc projects as required
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA) with 1-2 years post-qualified experience, ideally within the FMCG industry. You will ideally have qualified within one of the Top 10 audit firms and you must have strong statutory reporting skills. You must have proven knowledge of accounting standards and a good understanding of taxation principles. Experience using SAP would be advantageous and strong Excel skills are essential.
