eSift are currently looking for a results driven and effective Credit Controller, with previous experience in managing key clients/customer accounts to join out client, the world’s leading global integrated security company.

Location: Sutton, Surrey (SM4)

Salary: Up to £30k per annum plus company benefits

The main focus of this role is to be responsible for the timely collection of due date payments from our clients, strategic, key and other large customers. You will undertake full responsibility for query resolution throughout the organisation as well as compliantly following company policy and processes in order to maximise cash flow and mitigate the risk of bad debt.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Maintaining regular contact with customers primarily by telephone to develop strong multiple stakeholder relationships in Accounts Payable, with Approvers and Budget Holders.
Follow up telephone contact by email, where required providing statements and copy documents. Utilise dunning collections pragmatically for smaller value accounts.
Investigate and resolve queries by creating & maintaining Salesforce cases, as well as the issuance of credit requests.
Plan and arrange customer visits informing Sales and/or Branches.
Arrange monthly meetings and/or conference calls with Account Managers/Sector Heads to review accounts, highlighting concerns with solutions as well as opportunities.
Undertake account reconciliations, request remittances to clear unallocated cash, unravel mis postings, action debit notes and matching journals.
Working closely with Billing, ensuring the timely despatch of large strategic and key account invoices/credits to meet customer payment cut-off’s.

To be successful in this position you will have/be;

Ideally a minimum of 5 years B2B Credit Control experience.
CICM qualified/studying or proven technical ability.
Proven high achiever with a track record in collections vs. targets
A relationship and network builder with well-honed negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to build lasting rapports with customers.
Effective decision maker and problem solver.
The ability to work in a team as well as individually with the minimum of supervision.
A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate Excel (VLU, Pivot, functions), Microsoft Suite or G Suite user.
Competent user of ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce) and billing systems.
Experience of risk assessments
The willing to travel throughout UK to visit customers where required
