Internal Audit Senior and Associate

CAREER OPPORTUNITY KPMG  in Jamaica is  seeking to hire talented, highly motivated Internal Audit Professionals for our growing Internal Audit practice. Successful professionals  will work with high profile  clients within a structured client service process and a proven risk-management  methodology. The successful candidates will primarily be responsible for performing  operational and compliance audits in accordance with KPMG's Audit  Methodology. This includes developing risk and control assessments, Audit programs, testing controls, identifying process improvements, documenting findings and preparing internal audit reports. Positons Available: Senior Associates Associates INTERNAL AUDIT SENIOR PROFILE: Completed level III ACCA, CIA or CPA examinations ; ACCA Level II or Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum four years' experience in assessing internal controls effectiveness Experience in analysing business processes and information   systems controls in financial services, telecommunications, Hotel, manufacturing and distribution industries would be a distinct advantage Experience with data analytics techniques and tools such as IDEA would be an advantage Excellent Project Management skills Excellent interpersonal, report writing and communication skills Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint and Access would be an advantage. INTERNAL AUDIT ASSOCIATE PROFILE: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or ACCA level II Minimum two years' experience in assessing and reporting on risks and internal controls effectiveness; Experience in analyzing the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and controls in financial services, telecommunications,  manufacturing and distribution industries would be a distinct advantage; Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel; Understanding of and experience in testing information systems controls would be an asset; Be willing to aggressively work towards the CIA qualification Strong interpersonal, report writing and communication skills.
