Assistant Accountant

A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing manufacturing company based in Hemel Hempstead. Full time permanent role paying up to £28k with career progression, free parking and great benefits.

Role will involve Accounts Receivables, Credit Control, General Administration, Bank Recs, P&L and much more. We are seeking a candidate who can ideally use SAGE Line 50, can use their own initiative and happy to work on their own on occasion.

My client manufacture and produce an innovative product and are a market leader within the UK. They have a medium sized Head office in Hemel Hempstead, work 9:00-5:00 and offer great benefits and career progression. You will report into a friendly and hands on Financial Controller who is willing to offer training and is looking for someone who works well under pressure.

Description

• Accounts receivables, working with sales invoices
• Credit Control, chasing clients via telephone and email
• Bank Reconciliations
• General administration
• Accounts using Sage Line 50
• Writing cheques
• Assisting with month end
• Answering calls

• Experience in a similar role
• Proficient with Sage Line 50
• The ability to work alone
• Hard working candidate who works well in a team environment
• Happy chasing clients for payments
