Description

Main duties and

• Support and manage where appropriate, all financial processes relevant to Convenience category enabling the company to achieve Supplier Income and promotional targets.
• Be the supplier promotional expert within the Commercial Finance team - evaluating the current process to identify improvements and gaps where income may not be being claimed
• Work alongside the Senior Commercial Analyst as the finance support for the promotional process
• Produce business reports both internally and externally to the parent company, and to identify and deliver developments in reporting, system use and processes ensuring they deliver robust business information in an efficient manner.

Profile

The successful candidate will have

• Strong Excel skills and ability to master technical skills quickly
• Methodical and logical approach to work and ability to prioritise and manage parallel workflows with tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Experience of working in an analytical environment
• Ability to summarise detailed data and present it clearly at all levels of the business
• Bright and motivated with a desire to grow the role
• Willingness and aptitude to develop and progress quickly through the business
