Purchase Ledger Clerk
Permanent
Based in Horsham (parking available and shuttle bus from Horsham train station)
£21,450 per annum

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a lovely company in the Horshamarea on a permanent basis.

Your duties will include:

  • Process all invoices
  • Manual and electronic payments including BACs and cheque
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Dealing with supplier statement reconciliations
  • Inter-company balance reconciliations and payments
  • Ad hoc reporting as and when necessary
  • Managing of the petty cash
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts
  • General administration including filing, letter writing, dealing with telephone and email queries

Key requirements:

  • Experience of working in accounts is desirable however the aim to develop your career in accounts is essential
  • Experience using Sage Line 50
  • Competent in Word and Excel required
  • Technically competent
  • High level of organisation and planning
  • Commercial awareness
  • Decision making and ability to work on own initiative
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

You will be joining a Finance team where you will have the opportunity to progress and develop in an accounts role dealing with the purchase ledger. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in this sector.
