Management Accountant

This is a Management Accountant/Business Partner position within a global healthcare organsiation in Staines. The role itself sits within their Information Systems team & will be working alongside stakeholders at various levels of the business.

Description

The role provides a finance business partnering service to IS primarily and other Centre functions including the Global Functions Executive team (GFET). This comprises capabilities in planning, forecasting, reporting and general financial guidance to support strategic, tactical and operational decisions. Additionally the role provides core reporting and reconciliation responsibilities including monthly systems reporting, Balance Sheet and intercompany reconciliations and VAT analysis.

The role will provide support to the Centre Finance Team in the delivery of quality financial support to the Centre, challenge to the Centre Functions including the GFET and the delivery of financial results to the Global Reporting Team to support organisation-wide planning, forecasting and reporting activities.

Profile

Essential

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA

• Good excel skills
• Experience of monthly and statutory financial reporting and understanding of IFRS financial standards

• The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.

• Good relationship building and relationship management skills to establish good rapport with non financial oriented individuals and other finance teams.

• Conscientious and can-do attitude.

Preferred

• Experience of planning, management reporting and analytical review for Head office functions
• Knowledge of Cognos Controller, Cognos Planner, Cognos Business Intelligence and Peoplesoft Financials preferred or similar GL and planning tools.

Salary of £55,000 - £60,000 + benefits
