The Procurement Finance Team support in strategy by offering insightful decision support, navigate the business through the planning and reporting cycles whilst maintaining a strong control environment.

Business Partnering

  • Provide end-2-end Finance business partner support to Group Procurement team
  • Procurement Financial Strategy development
  • Manage the transition of reporting requirements
  • Finance decision support on all key Procurement initiatives
  • Project Work and adhoc analysis to support the strategic agenda

Planing and reporting

  • Lead period end close process including flash reporting
  • Production of periodic results and Quarterly forecast pack for use by Senior leadership team and Exec
  • Performance Forecasting through Quarterly updates, periodic forecast and Opportunities & Risks processes
  • Lead and Develop Short Term forecasting process
  • Commodities Hedging & Foreign Exchange management incl' currency requirements
  • Performance Management through period reporting, analysis and communication
  • Mark to Market reporting (incl Forward curve) and production of Value at Risk Schedules - Budget setting incl Investment, Cost saving targets & spend
  • Manage the standard setting process for Budget and alignment with Supply chain and commercial business units Manage & develop the financial control agenda covering


  • Application of financial controls, policies & procedures across Buyers
  • Internal & External Audit review requirements & follow up actions
  • Periodic Control Review & Reporting
  • Off shore team governance & operations
  • Commodity risk management framework compliance incl' hedging & foreign exchange Role Profile


  • Oversee the duties carried out by our off-shore Procurement Finance Analyst


  • Strong Academic Background
  • Technical accounting appreciation, particularly hedging
  • Advanced Excel
  • Strong Written and Spoken communication skills (English)
  • Financial modelling and report development (Need to be comfortable managing & Interrogating large amounts of data and drawing conclusions)
  • High end analytical & Interrogation skills
  • Structured, logical and organised worker
  • Process development & improvement
