Finance Manager

Client Details

Our client is market leaders in their industry and are looking to bring in an all around accountant in to support the finance team.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Ensuring bank reconciliations and purchase order match daily

• Post all required journals

• Ensuring available funds are in the correct account, including ensuring money is transferred between internal accounts as required

• credit control - ensuring we are as up to date as possible and dealing with any difficult issues in consultation with the General Manager

• Producing daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc management reports for the Managing Director

• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts

• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns for both UK and Ireland

• Preparation of Year End Accounts including main liaison point with external accountants

• Preparation of P11D ensuring submitted in timely manner

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be experienced in an all round finance role (at least 3 years)
• Have managed people in a previous position
• Have a positive can do attitude
• Has a proven track record of working in a fast paced environment
• Have a good working knowledge of Sage Line 50, Sage 200 would be advantageous,
• Excel (vlookups & pivot tables) is essential.
