Full time
  • Support Head of Department to meet the department's key performance indicators (KPI) and objectives.
  • Where assigned as Audit Team Lead, plan, coordinate, and execute audit engagements in accordance with the audit methodology and professional standards, and to complete the audit engagements as per agreed timelines.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of control design and operating effectiveness of the internal control processes, adherence to established policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Propose recommendations to address control weaknesses and/or process inefficiencies.
  • Attend closing meetings with audit clients, communicate and discuss audit observations with audit clients.
  • Track audit issues and remedial actions until closure.
  • Participate in cross-department and/or cross-border audit engagements.
  • Participate in projects, products and risk management reviews etc. and provide advisory services where required, to business and support function units.
  • Conduct fraud investigations where assigned.
  • Develop personal development/ training plan and continuously enhance their auditing skills, knowledge and competencies.


Qualifications
  • At least a degree holder in Banking, Finance, Accounting or other related qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in financial institution, particularly in internal audit, consumer business, finance or other related areas, or in external audit
  • Good command of English (spoken & written)
  • Possess strong analytical skills and ability to perform risk assessment on business and operational processes
  • Possess good interpersonal skills to handle key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in credit, operations or risk management would be an advantage.
  • Keen to continuously seek personal development or pursue relevant certification/ qualification
  • Familiar with Anti-Money Laundering/ Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) requirements and other general legal/ compliance functions.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and usage of ACL/ CAATs will be an added advantage.
