Description

Finance Analyst - IFRS duties and responsibilities;

• Financial analysis of overheads such as leased property, leased IT equipment, some overheads in airline and anything else that relates to overheads.
  
• Project financial accounting and analysis around IFRS16 legislative changes
  
• Partnering with Ernst & Young to prepare for legislative changes which focus on leasing to look at what the impact will be and actions required.
  
• Prepare the monthly intercompany matrix.
  
• Prepare overhead reports and analysis.
  
• Collect debtors and report weekly on debtor balances.
  
• Prepare a weekly contract cash position report.
  
• Manage cash balances on a daily basis including cash deposits, and forecast the next quarter cashflows every month for the Board.
  
• Prepare audit file schedules.
  

Profile

The ideal profile would be a technically focused accountant/ Financial Analyst with a core financial accounting knowledge and preferably an audit or Practise background. This Finance Analyst - IFRS would suit someone data driven with strong Excel skills and a desire to work with a high volume of lease, fixed assets and overhead agreements and contracts. Due to the nature of the role only candidates who are immediately available to start will be considered.
