Reed Finance are currently supporting a very successful and privately owned SME business based in South West Oxfordshire (Wantage).
They are looking for a Financial Controller to join the current established team and you will report to the Finance Director.
You will be responsible for managing the financial control, reporting and management information. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will also be responsible for managing the department ensuring compliance with statutory and company accounting and control procedures.
Managing a team of 4 you will be responsible for -
Monthly Management Accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Quarterly VAT returns
Annual Audit Pack
Manufacturer Rebate Reconciliations & Collections
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant but qualified by experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have previous similar experience and will have worked in an SME environment (t/over £10-30m) and you will have advanced excel skills.
