Description

Tax Manager - In House

You will be responsible for:

Ensure compliance with companies' corporate tax and VAT obligations

Provide tax support to the business

Involvement in tax projects both to identify opportunities and to ensure compliance in the processes

Raise awareness of tax within the finance teams

Preparation of corporation tax return filings

Preparation of the quarterly UK group VAT return

Working with UK business units to ensure that company VAT returns are accurate and compliant

Dealing with HMRC correspondence

Assisting with the SAO certification process

Preparation of other ad hoc filing requirements

Assist in the tax reporting process which includes, full year, budget and forecast.

Being a point of contact and providing tax support to the UK and Ireland business units

Providing support in relation to impact analysis of legislative changes

Supporting practical implementation and follow up of any planning initiatives

Supporting review and enhancement of internal tax controls.

Profile

You should ideally have a proven track record in corporate tax gained from working in a similar in house role or the professional services. VAT experience would be desirable but not required.
