YOUR IMPACT
Would you like to pursue a career as an accounting professional for the Investment and Lending segment of Goldman Sachs? We are looking for a team player with strong accounting knowledge and a passion in finance to support the Merchant Banking and Special Situations Group which primarily focus on the long term investment objectives of the firm.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
You will have direct experience to learn and understand the investment process within a leading global financial institution and the firm's accounting, regulatory and control processes that support the investments. This includes review of complex investment transactions for compliance with financial and regulatory requirements and applying systems and workflows for reporting and risks management of these investments. This gives you an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical, leadership and interpersonal skills in such an environment. You will get to work with talented professionals from various departments and experience Goldman Sachs businesses, products and sophisticated technology systems in great depths.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications
  • Reporting and risk management of firm's investing structures
  • Reporting to key stakeholders, including preparation of financial reporting packages under applicable accounting standards (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS and PRC GAAP), tax requirements and other regulations.
  • Conduct reviews of transactions for accounting treatment, funding and control considerations across various asset classes (e.g. real estates, private equities, loans, etc.)
  • A team player who can work effectively with the Business and other Federation teams, including Operations, Risk, Tax, Technology and Treasury.
  • Have a strong sense of control and ensure control standards are maintained and documented.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant designation or CICPA qualification, preferred with working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS or PRC GAAP.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the audit or finance field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, both in Mandarin and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong confident character, control mindset and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent PC skills and highly numerate.
  • Proven time management and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Willing to take on extra responsibilities.
