My client is an International manufacturing business.

Description

Working directly to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant plays a key role in the Finance function.

Working as a trusted Finance Business Partner to operational staff based across a few sites the Management Accountant will;

• preparing periodic reports, management accounts, budgets, commentaries and financial statements

• interact with auditors and finalise internal & external audits

• work with head office teams on various reporting matters.

• analyse company's financial performance and making longer term forecasts

• Recommending ways of cutting costs

• undertaking financial administration and internal audits

• liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues

• developing and managing financial systems/policies

• controlling and forecasting income and expenditure

Profile

You will be a Qualified Accountant and hold either ACA, CIMA or ACCA

The ideal candidate will have significant Manufacturing experience.

This role would suit a Solid Management Accountant, FM or Head of Finance.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to influence Non Finance decision makers

You will have excellent cost reduction skills.

You will have high level Excel skills
