Management Accountant

On behalf of a business based in Wallingford I am recruiting for a permanent Management Accountant to join their long standing finance team.

My client has a number of different products that and are looking to branch out into different international markets over the next 2/3 years.

Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following key duties:

• Assisting with month end close and completion of a suite of divisional management reporting packs to meet month end requirements with focus on revenue recognition.
• Assisting with monthly re-forecasting and annual budgets
• Management of billing processes and aged debt
• Updating and processing monthly commission payment schedules for Sales team
• Business Partnering with Project Managers to derive accurate project forecasts
• Support standardised business reporting and control processes including monthly project reviews and monthly project portfolio reviews
• Ensure adequate financial controls are in place and adhered to, including all key profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations across the Division.
• Liaise with the Division / Group teams (consolidation, tax, audit and reporting teams) and respond to several ad-hoc and routine queries on time.

Profile

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Proven experience in a similar management / financial accounting position, ideally in an international environment
• CIMA / ACCA studier and actively working towards qualification
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
