Treasury Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, execution and ownership of all cash management, liquidity planning and cash forecasting responsibilities
• Maintain and enhance the cash model and monitor cash on a daily basis
• Manage the production of the monthly ALCO pack
• Assist in the implementation, monitoring and reporting of the company's cash investment strategy
• Oversight of the company's bank account structure
• Participate in the Treasury Liquidity forum, providing liquidity perspective and propose actions to Funding and Reporting teams
• Ensure relevant policies and procedures are updated and in compliance with internal risk and control standards
• Lead Treasury projects, facilitate issue resolution and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Collaboratively work with colleagues in Funding and Reporting teams, as well as key stakeholders within the wider Finance group
• Presenting to senior members of staff including the Director of Treasury and CFO

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience of designing, executing and monitoring cash management within a Treasury team
• Uses knowledge of cash management techniques to provide input and ideas for both medium and long term business strategies and direction
• Extensive experience in cash flow modelling is essential
• Strong MS Excel skills - VBA coding would be an advantage
• Experience of proactively reviewing strategies to make changes and amendments
• Experience of developing ideas which are implemented and have a positive impact
• University degree with a minimum of 2:1
• Knowledge of how securitisation structures work would be an advantage
• Takes responsibility and needs limited oversight to accomplish projects
• Communication skills for dealing with key internal and external stakeholders at senior level; can build strong relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders
