ACA/ACCA/AAT - SEMI SENIOR - ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE JOB - LONDON - SALARY BETWEEN £25000 - £30000 PER ANNUM

A small chartered accountancy practice in South East London with 10-12 staff and a mix of experience and a varied skill set. Due to recent growth the firm is looking to recruit a bright semi-senior accountant. And, with plans to grow further this is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious firm. The company provides the full range of general practice accountancy services including Audit, Accountancy, Taxation and advisory services and clients range from large corporate audits to personal tax, so there is a real mix and variety of work on offer making it an ideal place for the right individual to learn and to grow with an excellent firm. The firm offers support for individuals studying towards ACA/ACCA or AAT. Located in a busy area of South East London with decent restaurants and other local amenities and in striking distance to central London by overground.

Your new role
This is largely an audit and accounts production role. You will be assisting in audit planning and testing and preparing year-end accounts for a range of companies in various industry sectors using IRIS accounts production software to do this. You will also assist with bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts with some payroll. You will be reporting to more senior members of staff and to the partners.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 12-18 months experience in a small or medium sized firm. You will have experience in using desktop and cloud-based accounting packages such as Sage, QuickBooks and Xero, this is essential whilst knowledge of IRIS software is an advantage.
