Description

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Liaising with UK Finance Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting for all business needs and requirements.

• Forecasting and Budgeting preparation to Gross Margin level alongside inventory control

• Control of stock volumes and values ensuring up-to-date and accurate records are kept and reporting

• Ensure overall stock valuation is compliant with accounting standards, whilst also calculation of inventory provision

• Reconciling stock to General ledger and calculation of overhead recoveries

• Product development reporting including Budgeting, forecasting, Monthly reporting and Monthly Journal postings.

• Weekly sales and order updates and month end order book reconciliation

• Ad-hoc analysis and reports as and when required, whilst driving change and automation of manual processes

• Cost Roll-ups, ensure standards are up-to-date and investigate PPV variances

• Monthly Service Accounting, reporting and forecasting

• Other duties as may be required

Profile

Accountant Requirements:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
• Relevant manufacturing experience
• Attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlines
• Good communicator and strong inter personnel skills
• Good excel, pivots and Vlookups
• Good ERP system knowledge
