Financial Controller, Job Ref. JO3002 East Donegal Full-time Permanent role Salary in the region of € 50,000 to €60,000 Who you'll be working for: A successful privately-owned construction company based in East Donegal who specialise both large scale Farming and projects in the Renewable Energy Sector throughout the island of Ireland. What you'll be doing: The person appointed in this role has responsibility for complete and up to the minute control over all Finance & Admin aspects of the company including the below: Accounting o   Sales, Purchase, General ledgers. o   Stock ledger as needed. o   Prepayments and Accruals. o   VAT records, returns and payments. Reporting o   Daily/weekly/monthly KPI (see below). o   Monthly management accounts. o   P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow report and forecast, and all appropriate analyses. o   Ad hoc Board reports. o   Covenant adherence for Forward and Backward measurement periods. o   Accounting policies. o   Preparation for annual audit. Analysis o   Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register. o   Reconciliation of Loan accounts. o   Reconciliation of Interco accounts. o   Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts. Forecasting o   Annual budgets. o   Updating the model each month. o   Cashflow forecasting (weekly, monthly and annual). o   Cash controls. o   Credit control/debt collection. o   Purchase Ledger control/payment runs. o   Bank reconciliations. o   Cheque and Internet bank mandates and signing levels (General & Reserve Accounts). Administration o   Company vehicles. o   Insurances. o   Regulatory compliance. o   Health & Safety. o   Primary IT system maintenance, back-ups, security etc. What You'll Need to Have: You will have excellent credentials and experience. It is essential that you have significant recent experience as a Financial Controller preferably within a similar or relative environment preferably with 4-5 years at this level. You should be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified. You will need to be self-motivated and flexible with excellent inter-personal skills. You should be able to create and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
