Description

This Assistant Accountant role will be extremely varied in order to gain maximum knowledge of a growing business across multiple cost centres so your role could include the following although not all necessarily at once;

Journals Accruals and Prepayments

Produce management accounting packs to consolidation.

Overheads

Analysing and reporting costs across multiple cost centres

Challenging business performance

Sales analysis

Checking margins

Bank accounts

Budgeting and forecasting

General Ledger Work

Intercompany reconciliations

P&L overheads

Statement on accounts

Year end support

Know the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger

Billings reporting

Weekly flash and performance reporting

Attending meetings with regional managers

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant candidate will@

A proven track record in a similar role

Active CIMA / ACCA studier

Experienced with SAGE

Confident with all aspects of excell in particular Macros
