Cooper Lomaz have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our professional and forward thinking client based near Saffron Walden. As AP Assistant, you will work as part of a small but highly successful finance team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the purchase invoices for the business. The organisation continues to thrive and grow organically so the role will also require the need to deal with a high volume of internal and external queries.
Key responsibilities for the role will include:
- Reconciliation of purchase order and invoices to maintain accuracy and integrity of the ledger
- Weekly payment runs of supplier invoices
- Processing of staff expenses claims
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Ad hoc support to the wider finance team
The successful candidate will ideally have experience gained within an Accounts Payable environment with an AAT qualification highly desirable but not essential. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a high volume of internal and external queries. Experience using Sage 200 would be advantageous.
