Project Accountant

Our client, a full service agency based in the heart of London, has an opening for an experienced Project Accountant to join them.

Working in a team of 8 and reporting to the Head of Revenue you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative services to ensure accurate project accounting, revenue recognition and reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Ownership of the project review process, including revenue recognition, WIP and profitability
• Review of project budgets against scopes of work and client commitments
• Ownership of project closure process
• Ensure consistent communications with client facing teams regarding project financial status
• Assist with internal department and intercompany project, revenues and costs to ensure project activities are reported accurately
• Preparation of project cash status reporting and forecasting
• Assist with month-end close process
• Assist with year-end financial audits
• Maintain strong financial and compliance controls and escalate any issues

Ideally you will be Part or Fully CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified with 3 years Project Accountant experience gained within a previous Marketing / Creative agency.

In return my client is offering a salary of upto £35,000 along with study support for the right candidate.
