This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has 2-5 years credit control experience who is looking to join a large company. You will be part of a newly created team of 4 working on a UK ledger. My client will mentor you and give you the exposure to gain the skills to progress your career. You must be passionate about Credit Control, ambitious, realistic and have the tools to be able to learn and progress.

You will manage your own ledger and be responsible for reducing debts and keeping queries to a minimum.

• Responsible for managing a UK ledger of 500 live accounts, worth 3-4 million monthly
• Chasing customers for payment by phone and email
• Keeping the credit control system up to date with clear notes
• Complex problem solving and query resolution
• Reconciling customer accounts
• Working to targets
• Attending meetings within the group, some travel may be required
• Assisting the Credit Manager with month end procedures and providing cover when required

Requirements:

• Experience within credit control
• Preferably experience of working within a large company environment
• Evidence of debt reduction
• Systems - ERP and advanced Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work hard as part of a lively team
• Ability to work to collection targets
