Sheridan Maine are currently recruiting for a permanent Ledger Supervisor to join a leading national business based in the Reading area.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the position will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within their busy finance team. Key duties of this varied role include:
-Ensure accurate invoice processes
-Pay suppliers in a timely fashion
-Calculate monthly billing and invoicing to customers
-Approve online banking payments
-KPI reporting
-Manage the month end period for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Ledgers
-Supervise and mentor the ledger team
This newly created opportunity is required due to an increase of workload and will be overseeing a high volume of transactions. Previous team leading/supervisory experience would be preferred as well as an all-round accounts knowledge of both the purchase and sales ledger functions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to motivate other staff members. Previous experience of ERP systems and good Excel skills are desired.
