Recruiting Company Profile JOBPOINT an Executive Search Services Company has been retained by a Global Leader in Audit Advisory Services to identify Director Statutory Audit (US GAAP, IFRS) to be based at Bengaluru. Job Description (My client is looking at a 3rd senior manager or a 1st year Director Big4 statutory audit experience is a must, shall consider candidates from Bengaluru only) As a Director Statutory Audit (US GAAP, IFRS) your responsibilities include the following - Lead, manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements - Form sound professional relationships with client staff - Respond to clients in an efficient and professional way - Respond to clients and internal clients promptly - Identify client issues, convey these and client requests to senior staff promptly and accurately - Implement / utilize technical standards to the high standard - Understand the entity and the industry in which it operates to develop expectations of its financial performance - Ensure the client provides key information. This is achieved by adopting a logical, coherent and consistent approach to addressing work issues and developing and evaluating options in response to all issues and suggests solutions - Produce good clear first drafts of correspondence and reports - Analysis of financial statement of the entity and peer companies - Carry out the audit procedures in accordance with the Generally Accepted Auditing Standards under USGAAP, Indian GAAP - Prepare and analyze Cash Flow Statements and Accounting Ratios - Analyze of Profit reconciliation between Indian and US GAAP - Verify the compliance of GAAP and other statutes for accounting as well as disclosure requirements, including encouraging/advising management to adopt the best practices for Financial Reporting - Evaluate the financial results of the Company vis--vis initially developed expectations and industry perspective - Group reporting as per IFRS for the companies - US GAAP reporting audit - Manage own time effectively and ensure that project work is completed to timescale and budget. Provide high quality work promptly, contributing to the successful completion of client work Adhere to defined procedures (e.g. in carrying out project work) - Ensure all work is completed to the standards required by senior staff and clients Desired Candidate Profile - CA with 12 to 18 years of Big4/ Consulting experience in Statutory Audit - Core auditing, process and risk management skills - A strong, energetic work ethic - Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity - Good managerial, administrative, risk management and mentoring skills - Strong ability to train, develop and grow team members - Willingness to invest the level of effort to meet client team priorities - Strong interpersonal skills and team player skills If interested please email your profile on vivek@jobpoint.co.in
