This Financial Accountant opportunity is a fantastic role. It's an opportunity to join an FMCG giant which is investing heavily and look to develop and progress their own employees. I'm not looking for a back office accountant though. I'm looking for someone who wants to get out from behind their desk and go and find out why variances exist, or why the accounts don't balance.

To be successful in this role, you are likely to be someone from a practice background or a similar role in industry. You are also likely to be someone who enjoys working at pace. Whilst this isn't a long hours culture, it is a fast moving environment and timely information is critical to the smooth running of the function.

You'll also be someone who is ambitious, a person who wants to do their very best and to progress. Someone who wants to work for a business who typically grow their own. A business who lives their values and want you to be the best version of you.

This job is focused predominantly on Financial Accounting, however, you will also be responsible for weekly overheads reporting, managing cash flow, feeding submissions up into group and also act as a first line of defence for internal audit. As such, if you love improving processes (the client are currently looking to reduce their month end process) and controls come as 2nd nature to you, it's likely that you will thrive in this role.
