This international organisation with an excellent reputation is looking to recruit a Business Analyst on a permanent basis. The Business Analyst will be required to travel to Europe sometimes at short notice.

The successful Business Analyst is likely to have significant experience in assessing the impact of business change needs. To capture, analyse and document these requirements. To ensure the requirements are delivered while supporting the business through the implementation process.

Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst includes:

  • Understand, analyse and interpret business requirements
  • Prepare system and process requirement analysis for projects. Validate and prioritise requirements using research and stakeholder insight
  • Develop and deliver detailed requirements
  • Develop project scope documents including functional and technical specification
  • Identify appropriate and effective potential solutions
  • Validate that solutions can be delivered to time and cost
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose
  • Ensure that legal and regulatory requirements are met
  • Challenge the basis of scope changes
  • Support the delivery production line, including documentation, testing and implementation.

Experience required for this role includes:
  • Extensive knowledge of project scope documents including functional specifications and project plans
  • Awareness of business and financial issues in relation to successful project management and producing effective business proposals
  • Knowledge of project mapping and change management process
  • A proven track record of building successful relationships with key stakeholders
  • Performing in-depth analysis, helping to define and validate requirements
  • Producing clear, high quality documentation for projects
  • Setting and constructing detailed technical, functional and design specifications
  • A track record of demonstrating initiative and coming up with innovative ideas
  • Creating project communications plans and status updates
  • Presenting and explaining complex information in a way which can be readily understood by different audiences
  • Ensuring the smooth delivery of projects on time, on budget and to high quality
  • Defining and monitoring progress of project objectives

The following benefits package is available to the successful Business Analyst:
  • 25 days per annum which increases to 30 days with up to 5 years service.
