This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a market leading Group that own almost 450 subsidiaries and operate at a TO of over GBP200m, now expanding their finance team and looking to recruit a part qualified Assistant Management Accountant as they continue in their journey of growth. This exciting and complex business continues to grow through acquisition providing ample opportunities for personal progression and development. The Assistant Management Accountant will provide detrimental support to a number of Regional Management Accountants and will play a huge part supporting a number of subsidiaries from a finance perspective.

Key responsibilities for the role of Assistant Management Accountant:

Liaise with Regional Management Accountants and provide financial support
Analyse data and report on findings
Assisting in the preparation of the monthly profit and loss accounts and commentary
Develop strong relationships internally within departments and provide support to the wider finance team
Liaising with Directors and Managers to support the understanding of financial results and P&Ls
Review profit and loss reports for a number of subsidiaries
Assist with preparation of VAT returns and reconciling ledger accounts
Build strong relationships with key managers within the subsidiaries and deal with any financial queries
Seeking continuous development and improvement in client service and processes
Assisting with the preparation of the monthly consolidated management accounts for the Group

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

Part Qualified in CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) with a commitment to continued learning
Advanced Excel knowledge
Strong understanding of the effective use of accounting systems.
The ability to communicate with stakeholders on all levels, including financial details and performance to a non–financial audience
