Our client manages a Greater China-focused long/ short equity fund that has achieved substantial growth and is aiming to expand over the coming years. They are currently looking for a fund operations professional to help set up the function. The biggest point of interest in this role is the culture and development opportunity available provided by down to earth and supportive management.

- Report to COO
- Responsible for the entire process of settlement, account opening and maintenance of portfolios
- Monitor unmatched trades for timely settlement and liaise with custodians to reconcile any trade matching issues
- Process investor requests including change of contact details, investment entities and transfer of fund
- Prepare instructions of investment and cash transactions to custodians
- Liaise with custodian and fund administrators to manage cash flows, valuations, applications and redemptions
- Manage the fund financial statement audit and annual tax distribution preparation process
- Responsible for fund/ attribution performance reporting, unit pricing, statutory and investor reporting
- Ensure that work is processed within compliance guidelines to meet the investment objective
Requirements
- Degree qualified
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Attention to detail, accuracy and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Pro-active, mature, well-organised and an excellent team player
- Able to multi-task, prioritse work load and work in a fast paced environment
