Transaction Manager (TMND1804) An exciting opportunity exists at Mervyn Stewart, North Down branch, for a Transaction Manager. We seek an enthusiastic, committed individual who possesses the energy and focus to succeed in this essential position and hit our high standards. This will be a fulfilling role within our growing business playing a key role within the Management team and working closely with the Sales Manager. The Person The successful candidate for this position will be someone who is highly motivated with a proved track record in sales. A minimum of 2 years selling experience is required and experience within a franchised car dealership is essential. Previous team leader experience and/or experience within a similar role would be an advantage. The Role Maintain product knowledge and be aware of Sales Promotions and quarterly campaigns in operation. Help lead the Sales team to achieve success focusing on defined priority areas Follow up and prospect customers in order to maximise every sales opportunity for both repeat and new business Assist the Sales Manager with the daily operations of the department in line with Standard Operating Procedures To ensure that each customer is provided with the information to make an informed decision relative to their purchase Stack deals for the sales team and 2nd face customers Comply with FCA obligations and F & I Sales Process Deputising for the Sales Manager in his absence Complete training programs as required. Maintain adequate records of all sales activities including customer contacts through showroom log. Carry out full and accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented in part-exchange, using the showroom enquiry form, including mechanical, electrical and all cosmetic features Maintain all paperwork in a complete and orderly manner Salary : Basic £25K & target based bonus OTE £40K Benefits: Company Car & Pension Mervyn Stewart are an equal opportunities employer.
