Join us in Dublin as a Portfolio Manager in Corporate Banking * This is a key frontline role in our Credit Delivery, Fulfilment & Credit Stewardship function within Portfolio Management * Reporting to a portfolio director, you'll work within the new operating model within Corporate Banking to deliver excellent service and efficient cost * You'll gain valuable exposure to key stakeholders, as you combine your strong technical lending skills with best in class customer management skills What you'll do As a Portfolio Manager, you'll contribute to the seamless and continuous improvement of credit delivery and stewardship for existing and new business. you'll build strong relationships with key stakeholders in Coverage, Credit Risk and within Portfolio Management. As we'll as this, you'll: * Deliver excellent customer service and efficient cost to serve * Work with Coverage teams in agreeing transaction structuring, and building new and managing existing customer relationships * Play a key role in the preparation of credit applications, annual reviews, and discussions with Credit Risk and documenting transactions * Deputise for your line manager when required The skills you'll need Were looking for a confident banker with proven experience in corporate and commercial credit risk and lending principles. you'll ideally have experience of presenting to customers, structuring transactions, completing annual reviews and documenting credit facilities. you'll also ideally have a thorough knowledge of the banks systems, policies and procedures. we'll also look to you to bring: * An Accounting or other similar third level or professional qualification * Experience of operating within a framework of SLAs and KPIs, to ensure transactions are closely monitored, and that efficiency and effectiveness are maximised * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Experience working as part of a team * A deep understanding of, and broad experience in the application of risk management principles * Significant understanding of how regulatory, political, reputational and environmental issues impact the division How we'll reward you In return, we offer a competitive salary plus 25% cash and benefit funding programme that can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
