Finance Manager - Multinational Retail - Contract

Engage People is delighted to be working with a global retailer listed on the FTSE 100 as they look to hire a Finance Manager initially on a 9-month contract. In what is a key role in the organisation's finance structure, you will gain exposure to working with a range of teams across the business to ensure effective communication with relation to financial matters. Based in their South Dublin HQ, the successful candidate will work closely with the Group Financial Controller. While this role will initially be appointed on a 9-month contract basis, our client has a reputation for retaining talented people for permanent opportunities. You will: Attain and communication relevant financials across the business Complete and review periodic group financial reporting requirements - profit & loss focussed Ensure period end close activities are performed in accordance with agreed close schedules and that accounting policies follow Irish GAAP and stated company norms Deliver financial accounting requirements for head office, IT, revenue generation & inter-co areas Financial accounting requirements for statutory sales, like for like sales, other revenue and provisioning Experience: This role is a suited to a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA) ideally with 2-3 years post qualification experience in a relevant role.
