The PBSPO is responsible for providing through life support to the Armidale Class Patrol Boats (ACPBs) and the Cape Class Patrol Boats (CCPBs). Asset management services are delivered through an outsourced performance based In Service Support Contract spanning engineering, maintenance and logistics operations. The Mechanical Engineering Officers will be responsible for working within the Defence Seaworthiness system, to conduct Engineering activities to support the Patrol Boat capability.
