Site Financial Controller
Role
Robert Half are working with a well known FMCG business to recruit a Finance Business Partnering Financial Controller. This site based role, easily commutable from Bristol, Bath or Swindon will look after all commercial finance for a large site for a instantly recognisable brand.
Profile
Following a large piece of investment our client is looking to ramp up the financial support on site by recruiting a commercial finance candidate to sit on site and liaise across numerous operational business lines becoming entrenched in senior team meetings and driving performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and maintenance of processes and procedures to support the reporting and control of costs around the factory
- Project support and costings
- Monitoring of capital expenditure and depreciation policies
- Ownership of absorption costing methodology
- Management and reporting of overhead spend verses budget
- Product costing
- Preparation of budgets and forecasting
- Support and challenge the GM with key commodity contracts
- Daily recovery reporting
- Support with stock management and counting
- Completion of month end procedures and relevant reporting
