F P and A Manager (Financial Planning ) - Broad role, great prospects

Our exclusive client is a manufacturer and importer of branded and white label FMCG products. The customer base is broad and includes many high street retailers and multiples.

This newly created role represents an exceptional opportunity for a talented, fully qualified accountant to develop their career in an exciting, international business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing financial and commercial analysis and information to support operational business decision making.
• Performing a key role in all management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, providing full analysis and insight of key business drivers.
• Helping improve management information including the development of new models and reports.
• Analysing business performance, challenging assumptions and highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Supporting the implementation of business strategies.

Appropriate candidates will be fully qualified accountants with previous budgeting and planning experience gained in a complex, high quality environment. You will have a firm grasp of all aspects of accounts preparation, analytical skills and a truly commercial outlook. Impressive technical and data manipulation skill will be a given. Previous management experience would be ideal although the desire to build on these skills will be of equal importance. By nature, you will be inquisitive and have an eye for the detail... Hands on is a must !
