Accounts Payable Supervisor

Robert Half are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a highly reputable company based in North Bristol. The interim role situates itself within the finance team and directly reports to the Financial Controller - The role will be focused on ensuring suppliers are paid to agreed terms through resolving and preventing Purchasing and Accounts Payable issues. A good working knowledge of SAP Purchasing or Accounts Payable is require to ensure that the successful person will be able to provide support as soon as possible.



Hourly rate: £13-£16 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: North Bristol

Duration: 4-6 Months



Main responsibilities of role: Assist Financial Controller with development of KPI and management reporting around accurate and timely payment of suppliersSupport Finance team through undertaking some transactional analysis/ activities (specifically at month end)Drive resolution of urgent supplier payment issues (e.g. where legal proceedings or withdrawal of supply have been threatened_Prevent future supplier payment issues through identifying process 'blockages, potential solutions and support the Finance and Operations teams in developing and delivering training as/ when required.



The company itself is needing someone who possesses very good, relevant technical knowledge and an ability to understand and solve underlying issues. The individual needs to be someone who is confident dealing with stakeholders including senior management and a good communicator who can prioritise work effectively.



Qualification/ Experience Advanced Excel skillsSignificant experience in an Accounts Payable environmentExperience working with SAPExperience of Procurement/ Purchase Order/ Accounts Payable processesExperience of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to priories an intense workload.
