Pre-Approval Processing Officer
Perform the following activities in support of pre-approval processing for various credit facilities such as Equipment & Machinery Loans, Business Term Loans, Commercial Property Loans, Trade Facilities etc.
Qualifications
- Verify and review application and other supporting documents per established program guidelines. Documents include but are not limited to financial statements, Credit Bureau and ACRA reports, bank statements etc
- Validate and edit information in proprietary credit processing system
- Access and retrieve information from proprietary banking system
- Communicate with partners from Business, Risk and other Operations units
- Will be part of a section of about 10 pax and report to a team lead
- As assigned by Team Lead to take on additional tasks such as but not limited to: Process Improvements, Automation Projects, Coaching and Mentoring, Business Continuity, Administrative Tasks etc
Qualifications
- Degree from a recognized university
- Candidates with relevant banking operations or credit-related experience will be considered
- Key Knowledge: Credit Concepts, Financial statements, Debt-Income and Debt-Servicing Ratios
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skill. Comfortable with numbers and computations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and MS Outlook (Email Client). Knowledge of Access too would be a plus
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good time management. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and to work under challenging and demanding circumstances to meet Service expectations
