Service Stream are a national service provider to the telecommunications and utilities industries. We specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of new and existing networks on behalf of our blue chip client base.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to support Service Streams Aerial Distribution Pole Inspection Program and various works for critical infrastructure clients through piloting the Service Stream fleet of Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAV''s) to capture imagery of assets for the purposes of detailed inspection.
Key Responsibilities
Competently pilot and maintain the Service Stream UAV craft in accordance with company policy and the requirements of the approved CASA Operations Manual.
Deliver projects safely, meeting all safe work requirements and ensuring zero injuries to themselves, team members or the public.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement of UAV operations and the development of enhanced service offerings in the aerial inspection marketplace.
Compliance with Policy, Procedure and Regulatory requirements.
Investigation and reporting of defects.
Required Experience
Previous experience piloting light / commercial aircraft is preferred
Experience piloting UAV aircraft is preferred
Image capture / camera system experience preferred
Ability to work unsupervised
Utility industry experience will be an advantage
Required qualifications
Private Pilot''s License or minimum RPAS level 1 training
