About the role
The IT Business Analyst assists Baptcare business users to define business needs, develop business cases, document business and system requirements and map associated business processes, to deliver IT systems support our people care for others.
Skills, duties and experience
* Minimum of 5 years plus IT exposure
* Minimum of 5 years plus business analyst experience
* Minimum of 3 years plus working in areas of Networks and Systems
* Back ground with Technical Business Analysis work with a focus on:
o Infrastructure Networks
o Infrastructure Systems
o Aged Care Embedded Technology
o Property Technology
o Telephony Technology
* Development of high quality business requirement documentation Requirements gathering/ Validation in:
o Telephony
o Network
o Systems
* Development of high quality Process Maps and Gap Analysis documentation
o Process mapping - technical systems,
o Interfaces between systems
* Technical solution research
o Solution selection options
o Solution comparison
* Business case
o Experience contributing to Business Case (BC) Development
o Experience in Business case Financial analysis
* Business system impact assessments
o Exposure to Disaster Recover (DR)/ Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Business Impact Assessments (BIA)
o New technology impacts
* Technical Writing ability
o Operational Procedures
o Technical Installation
o Technical Specification documentation
* Continuous improvement of Baptcare's Business Analysis capabilities (UML, BPM)
* Provide support for system development lifecycle activities, downstream of Requirements Analysis
