As a general ledger accountant, you will report to the team lead and work in a European shared service centre environment. Responsibilities: - P&L and Balance Sheet reviews for accounts - Preparing statutory accounts for German region - Approving month end reconciliations and journals - Reviewing and approval of Statistical Returns, VAT/Intrastat/VIES calculations and returns - Assisting with Tax planning and budgeting - Liaising with auditors and business stakeholders - Ensuring accuracy in your work and adherence to SOX controls Skills and Qualifications: - German Fluency - Part or fully qualified accountant or finalist - 2-3 years' experience - Proficient in MS Excel - Strong Accounting, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently, under pressure and multiple tasks at once - Previous experience in a shred service centre environment an advantage If you are interested in this role, APPLY NOW or call Lisa on 01-6991200 for more information.
