Import & export manager

Mooney Pastoral is located in Bundella NSW 2343. Due to our increasing development and expansion, we are looking for an import & export manager. If you are a highly motivated, responsible, passionate, with high attitude into details person, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Negotiate trade conditions and terms with suppliers, in order to obtain high quality furniture at reasonable cost
• Design, develop and implement efficient wholesale distribution channels and strategies
• Develops business plans, sales process, and strategy for market that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability
• Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets
• Communicate with domestic and international suppliers to enter into beneficial business agreements and expand customer base through existing suppliers
• Regularly liaise with distributors to monitor their changing needs and report any competitor's activity to senior management
• Maintain status report for all shipments and maintain knowledge on all technical issues for brokers and collaborate with various departments for release of all goods from customs.
• Arrange, supervise and liaise with Australian Customs Service (ACS) and Australian Quarantine
• Inspection Services (AQIS) for compliance with procedures and compile documentation required by the relevant authorities for prompt and efficient clearance of goods.
• Ensure cost effective and efficient transfer or release of goods in accordance with Government
• Advise senior management of sales situation
