Audit Director

This Director plays a pivotal role within the Audit team. The successful candidate will have their own portfolio of clients, generating a turnover of between £10 - 100 million. They would be expected to take the lead on client relationships, help develop the audit team and take a strategic role in driving the business.

Description

* The Director will be expected to make a significant contribution towards achieving a team financial target.
* Manages day to day delivery of client service and ensures their teams deliver the highest quality of service to clients; maximises client satisfaction by acting on client feedback
* Acts as lead on audit assignments for a client base or supports the partner in carrying out this role for larger, more complex audit clients, seeking opportunities to add value where appropriate
* Initiates regular review of clients in their portfolio and implements plans to enhance/protect the relationship

Profile

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  * Substantial post-qualified experience in audit within practice, including experience as a senior manager
  * Experience of taking the lead on an SME focused client base as well as larger more complex groups.
  * Good working knowledge of compliance and regulation and the ability to support and mentor staff
