Finance Manager

Immediate start interim role for someone who has a solid understanding of VAT and Tax returns in European countries as well as group accounting.

A pharmaceutical brand with a growing presence in European markets.

Description

• Internal and external financial reporting including assisting in the preparation of Stat accounts for the International legal entities
• Makes sure VAT, Intrastat, social security, payroll tax, 3rd party payroll levies, and all similar statutory submissions are filed accurately and timely on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, in all jurisdictions, and to ensure payments are made accurately and on time
• Ensures VAT is correctly charged and processed on Navision according to local legislation
• Assisting with the internal and external VAT and Intrastat audits
• Ensure that VAT returns reconcile to the General Ledger for the various entities
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis for local management requirements
• Assist with the preparation of consolidated group Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Working capital, Capital Expenditure and other analysis for monthly CFO pack
• Assist with the year-end statutory accounts and liaise with external agencies

Profile

It is crucial that the successful candidate has the following skills/experience:

• ACA/ACCA qualification
• Pharmaceutical or FMCG experience
• Experience in VAT and statutory accounts
• Experience in dealing with and working with International markets
• Analysing data to create reports
• Strong excel / data analysis skills
• French or German language skills would be extremely advantageous
• Experience using Navision
