Finance Analyst

My Client, a large Property and Housing organisation in Letchworth Garden City are in need of a Finance Analyst to join them. By creating this structure for the Finance Analyst team, that business partner, they have managed to create fulfilling commercial roles that are brilliant for the candidates; and have allowed non financial heads to access and understand key financial information.

Description

• Support budget holders through the budget and re forecasting cycle

• Support stakeholders with coding and other finance queries

• Own the accounting processes and provide timely information

• Prepare and present management accounts and reports to the relevant internal stakeholders in line with financial reporting standards, whilst providing operational areas value added information to aid business decisions.

• Ensure all period end deadlines are adhered to

• Support the management reporting process

• Prepare and provide financial data for collation for external reports and returns

• Support the management reporting process

• Assist with Internal and External Audit requirements

• Ad Hoc Duties

Profile

As a Finance Analyst / Business Partner

• Experience in a management accountant or finance business partner role

• Analytical thinker with hands-on experience of financial data analysis and reporting, able to extract and communicate complex analysis and trends clearly and concisely to non-finance managers

• Relationship builder and credible professional, experienced in managing stakeholders

• Ambitious, willing to make an impact on business

• Competent user of MS Office tools, in particular Excel at intermediate level (complex formulas, lookups, pivots, links; macro knowledge not required)

Desirable

• All-round technical and commercial finance knowledge with previous experience in finance business partnering / commercial finance in a technology focused environment
