About the opportunity
We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Field Service Plant Mechanic to be based at our Dubbo Branch to deliver hands on mechanical and technical support to our Caterpillar customers in the Western Region of NSW. As the successful applicant you will be required to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer machines. You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties.
What we're looking for
As the successful candidate you will be a trade qualified mechanic and possess the following skills:
Proven experience in a similar role
Mechanical trade qualification.
Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
Strong job planning skills
Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
Ability to work autonomously in the field as well as in a team/workshop environment
You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
